A Jaunt around Jumbles

Join me on a 4 mile walk around Turton Tower, Chapletown and Jumbles Reservoir. A varied walk, on good paths, covering moorland, village and woodland walking. Crossing the railway line, we skirt Turton Moors before descending to Chapeltown via field paths, to view its historic buildings. From here we descend to Jumbles reservoir for an easy walk around the water before returning to Turton Tower. A lovely walk with lots of varied history and great scenery, weather permitting, 425 ft of ascent ( not all at once!) Please Note the Tower is not open for visitors on Tuesdays. But the cafe is!! but bring drink and snack too.
