Jumbles Reservoir from Turton Tower

16 Apr 24 - 10:00
4.5 miles around Turton Tower, and Jumbles reservoir. Some road work, but mainly on farm/field tracks, and good paths around Jumbles reservoir. From Turton Tower we will head over the railway line, before taking field tracks along the Witton Weavers Way and dropping down to recross the railway line (care needed) and head into Chapletown. We then cross Wayoh Reservoir on the embankment and head towards Jumbles reservoir - a short road stretch is necessary . Entering the woods, we enjoy flat paths- where we may see a variety of wildlife. Some mud to be expected.

Millom Weekly Walk & Talk

29 Apr 24 - 11:00 AM
The weekly Walk & Talk leaves from Millom Safe Space (aka Tin Chapel / Pensioners Hall) around 11am every week. These weekly walks are a gentle, easy & safe way to meet other folks, have a natter, take your mind off life’s worries for a while. We’ll usually have a wander out to the coast and maybe round the sea wall or through the reserve, sometimes we only go as far as the benches by the pool – we want as many people as possible to have the opportunity to attend so we’re putting on walks you can all attend.
