Not many people know that there are two National Parks that contain bits of Cumbria – the wonderful Lake District & the gentle pretty Westmorland Dales.

We run events both in the parks and also in beautiful quiet corners of the county – details can be found below.

We'll be focusing on leadership, route choice and adding in some navigation - all whilst hopefully seeing one of the true wonders of the UK - the fabulous geological feature that is High Cup Nick

High Dam – Finsthwaite

This walk is only available to Residents of Millom. The walk starts with a short climb up through lovely old woodland - and then we emerge at a beautiful small lake which we can walk all the way around. There will be time for a short swim if people wish to.

Coniston & the Pudding Stone

This walk is only open to residents of Millom. We'll do a circular walk with a slow steady ascent - eventually emerging in a beautiful spot next to the famous puddinstone - only the brave try to stand on the top! We'll pass through the heritage mines before making our way back to Coniston.

Stickle Tarn from Langdale

This walk is only available to people from Millom. We'll return to lovely Langdale - but this time we'll be making the steep ascent up to the tarn - its a steady good path - but there is 400m of ascent - you'll feel it in your legs! But...what a view when you get to the tarn - one of the most special places in the Lake District!

Black Combe 2025

This walk is only open to residents of Millom. A firm favourite on the Wellness Walks calendar - an ascent of the mountain that you can see from everywhere in Millom. On the right day the views are simply stunning - into the centre of the Lakes, across to the Isle of Man and even Snowdonia.
