Gander around Gosforth Bleng Forest

We start our walk from this quaint village, nestled in the scenic western lake district. The village is steeped in history, with evidence of Viking and Roman influence. A 9th Century Viking Cross stands in the Church Yard and is considered one of the most important Norse artifacts in England. We wind our way through the village until we reach Blengdale and enter Bleng Forest and do a circular walk through the forest which features riverside paths along the River Bleng, and High point views of Wasdale and the Coast. We will finish off with a cuppa in ‘Yam from Yam’ Cafe in the Village The Walk is approx 12 Km 7 Miles
