Ladies only: Autumn wander in Wharfedale
This 7 mile walk starts in Bucken then ascends to Cray before walking along above the River Wharfe passing woodland which will hopefully be turning autumnal for us. We then descend to Yockenthwaite, (famous in All Creatures Great and Small) where we will return alongside the river back to Buckden. We will pass the historic church in Hubberholme where, if open we can pop inside to hunt for the mice carvings in the pews.
What did you think of the walk?
Typical Yorkshire Dales with rolling hills, limestone in abundance and lots of sheep. Beautiful views down the valley and the changing colours of autumn. Fabulous company and support to. Ruth has so much knowledge about the area and landscape.

Definitely recommend these wellness walks, today’s walk really lifted my mood so that i forgot about my worries and instead enjoyed the views, the chatter, support and the company. Thank you 🥰🥰
