Wander round Malham Tarn to the Cove loop
This is a 6 mile walk, walking around the stunning Malham Tarn, before heading across to the top of the cove via Ing Scar, where we will have lunch and enjoy the spectacular views( hopefully). We will not be going down to the Cove itself, instead we will return to the Tarn through Trougate. We can see the sinkholes near the Tarn, where the water disappears underground to come out again at the Cove.
What did you think of the walk?
The route, the weather, the people. I love getting back into nature and these walks take me to routes I don’t know. The various personalities all have something to show or teach us. We laugh so much too. We are all so different yet so like minded as well
How did the walk help you?
I have a stressful job. These walks just re-centre me and blow out the cobwebs. I get so much for the friendships that are growing too. I come home with rosey red cheeks and a smile.
Would you come on a walk again?
Yes! I would love to go again.
