Ladies only: Malham Cove loop

This is a very popular 5 mile walk where we walk alongside the Beck to the beautiful Janet’s Foss which is a pretty waterfall in a little natural amphitheatre. We then head over to the impressive Gordale Scar with limestone cliffs of over 100m high. We will then climb slowly to the top of Malham Cove, the limestone pavement where we will spend some time taking in what is one of the most impressive visas in the Dales. We will then head slowly down the steps to the bottom of the cove where we will then head back along back to the village.

What did you think of the walk?

Excellent

The views were stunning. The group were very friendly with great chatter all day. With it being wet our leader found a safe way for us to go but still was able to see the views.

How did the walk help you?

It was good to get out in the fresh air and meet new people and catch up with other friends.

Would you come on a walk again?

Yes! I would love to go again.
