Ladies Only :A loop from Bardon Bridge to Bolton Abbey
This is one of our favourite walks as there is so much variety. We walk along one side of the river Wharfe, to Bolton Abbey where can wander through the interesting remains. We then return on the other side of the river, where we pass the all important coffee shop and the magical Strid where the river goes through a very small ravine. Dramatic and dangerous! Predominantly flat. With our ambling , it will take us about 4 hours.
What did you think of the walk?
This walk has been good because it gets you out and meeting people from all different parts of the country. Ruth the leader was kind and helpful. While walk she made sure she talked to each and every member. Thank you Ruth. 😘
How did the walk help you?
It was lovely to get out and admire all the beautiful scenery that we have around us. Meeting people, talking about different cultures, helping mental health and fresh air.
