Kind words – Liz (23-03-2025)

Rannoch Forest

This is a pleasant forest walk to do in the Spring Time as our surroundings start to come alive again. We will walk through the varied deciduous woodland that is a carpet of wild Blaeberries later in the year to a small Lochan which, on a calm day, gives wonderful reflections. We’ll pause for lunch here and then the group will continue deeper into the forest before looping back in a circuit to the start point, pausing again at a lovely viewpoint overlooking Loch Rannoch.

What did you think of the walk?

Excellent

It was lovely to meet new people and to explore a walk I’d not been on before.

How did the walk help you?

It encouraged me to get out and walk further than I normally would. It helped me relax

Would you come on a walk again?

Yes! I would love to go again.
