Ladies only: Long Preston to Scaleber Force loop
This walk is about 8 miles long. We leave the village behind and climb steadily up onto the moors to follow Brookil Gill Beck to Scaleber Force ( 313m ascent) where we will stop and hopefully admire the view, spotting signs of spring. We will return down to Long Preston via Lambert Lane, a Pennine Bridleway. We can stop at the pub for a drink afterwards if you wish. The walk will consist of country lanes, tracks and fields.

This is the third wellness walk I have done with Ruth. She is knowledgeable, always well prepared and makes time for everyone on the walk. She always makes me feel so much better in myself.
How did the walk help you?
The walk helped me with my low mood and mental wellbeing and being and also being part of a group who all share a common goal is a great mood booster.
