Wander up the Wharfe to Appletreewick
We will walk up alongside the river Wharfe to Appletreewick, then a gentle incline round Kail Hill before dropping into the village for a quick drink in the pub. We will then walk over to the hamlet of Skyreholme then return along the river to the bridge. The walk will be about 8 1/2 miles and will be a gentle pace.

This was my first walk with the group. Ruth’s organisation of the day was perfect and the group was very friendly.
How did the walk help you?
I am pleased that I have found a group that walks in the Dales and the Lake District as I will be able to do walks that I wouldn’t do alone. Also, having met the ladies in the group now, I feel confident of joining another walk.
