An Easy Paced Wellness Walk of a little under 6mls with 300m of accumulated ascent over the day. Exploring many of the Weird & Wonderful Features of Rivington Gardens & Visiting Rivington Pike, The Pigeon Tower, The Tiered Bridge, Liverpool Castle & much more. Let’s hope for good weather allowing us some excellent views in every direction from Rivington Pike, but whatever the weather it’s always an interesting walk.

We’ll be having a picnic lunch, bring food & drink, and don’t forget to bring something to sit on, a mat, or even a plastic shopping back will be OK. 😊
Walk Leader - Karl
Karl is a qualified International Mountain Leader with over 20 years experience of safely leading people on their ‘Best Mountain Trip Of A Lifetime’ across the world. Before that he taught Outdoor Education & Sport in Colleges. He also has Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid qualifications – so you’ll be in safe hands.
Now returning to his roots he likes nothing more than introducing people to local walks – about which he always has a wealth of interesting and fun facts. Karl is especially good at making sure everyone has a good day out – join him on one his walks and find out for yourself.

Toilets should be available at the start & finish of the walk A cafe is available at finish & May be open before the walk Dogs allowed: 1pp must be well behaved, not constantly barking & must remain under control. Please no extendable leads as they are a trip hazard.
Mixed Weather
We’re expecting mixed weather on this walk – so make sure you bring waterproofs AND an extra warm layer, but who knows might be nice & sunny?
