This picturesque walk starts at High Dam car park and takes in stunning scenery and views of the Southern Lake District Fells. From the car park we head up to a man-made tarn along gravel and woodland paths before continuing on through open fields and woodlands around Finsthwaite. There will be a rest break at Stott Park Bobbin Mill, a 19-century bobbin mill and museum. The route is undulating with short uphill sections but a stunning and easy paced walk.
