ELTERWATER & LANGDALE VALLEY.
Easy Paced Wellness Walk
. A lovely Valley Walk of around 7.5mls with 320m of accumulate ascent.
We’ll be head west from Elterwater heading up into the Langdale Valley surrounded by the Awesome Pikes, eventually reaching the Old Dungeon Ghyll. From there we’ll head back mostly along the river, returning via Chapel Stile to Elterwater where the hospitable Britannia Inn should be available for refreshments.

Dress for the weather, pack anorak, hat gloves, spare fleece or top, wicking mountain shirt, ideally mountain trousers. No jeans or cotton tops. (COTTON KILLS) wear boots.
Take packed lunch, warm drink, water.
Ensure you are carrying ID & a completed personal details form.
Walk Leader - Karl
Karl is a qualified International Mountain Leader with over 20 years experience of safely leading people on their ‘Best Mountain Trip Of A Lifetime’ across the world. Before that he taught Outdoor Education & Sport in Colleges. He also has Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid qualifications – so you’ll be in safe hands.
Now returning to his roots he likes nothing more than introducing people to local walks – about which he always has a wealth of interesting and fun facts. Karl is especially good at making sure everyone has a good day out – join him on one his walks and find out for yourself.

Dogs Allowed: 1pp up to a maximum of 3 for the group. Must be friendly, well behaved, no noisy dogs, must remain under close control during walk.
