Join us for an easy paced, almost entirely flat, beginner friendly Autumnal walk and talk around the beautiful Mersey River and Woodlands from Didsbury.
We will spend a couple of hours walking at a leisurely pace taking in some of the sights of this lovely area which may include the River Mersey and ‘Didsbury Beach’, ‘Poplar Avenue’, Stenner Woods, the Fletcher Moss Botanical Gardens, Parsonage Gardens. Don’t worry if we don’t see them all, we’re aiming to make this one of our regular walks.

Walk Leader - Sarah
Not only is Sarah a qualified Hill & Moorland Leader as well as being qualified in First Aid for Mental Health and Outdoor First Aid, but she is also a registered Counsellor so you can be sure that your wellbeing will be a priority.
Sarah loves walking around hills, woodlands and rivers and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Sarah believes that a walk often brings a helpful sense of perspective and balance to the stresses of life and hopes to share these benefits with others.
Being an avid Wainwrights bagger Sarah tells us that her favourite place to walk is in the quieter Far Eastern Fells for the big views and real sense of being away from it all. Closer to home Sarah enjoys exploring locally around Manchester, Stockport and into the Peak District and looks forward to guiding you some on surprisingly beautiful and interesting walks not too far from the doorstep!
