Darwen Tower, Tockholes & Reservoirs from Abbey Village easy paced walk 7mls. 350m ascent over day. Should be a lovely walk taking in quite a lot for only 7 miles. Plenty of time to take photographs, enjoy the woods & moors. Hopefully we can have a picnic lunch at the tower before our return down through Tockholes & Roddlesworth Valley finishing at Abbey Village.
Wear boots & dress for the weather, be prepared as we’re into December. Bring hot drink, some lunch, waterproofs etc
just in case.
