This 2.5 to 3 hour walk starts at Heron Corn Mill in the quaint village of Beetham and takes in woodlands and limestone pavements to the legendary Fairy Steps. From here we’ll head to Sandside and Dallam deer park and back to the car park. The route can be muddy and slippy so extra care is needed. It also has some short inclines and narrow stiles but overall it’s a very pleasant and enchanting walk. There is a pub nearby if anyone would like to stop and chat afterwards but it is advised to check opening times beforehand.
