Starting at The Promenade we’ll head along the coastal path before heading up to Arnside Knott where we can enjoy spectacular views across Morecambe Bay. This is approx. a 3 hour walk and will involve walking along uneven paths and some short steep inclines. There is the option to head to the pub or cafe afterwards. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Walk Leader - Rebecca W.

Rebecca is a qualified Lowland Leader & she’s also qualified in First Aid for Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid – so you know she’ll keep you safe and make your Wellness Walk a safe and supportive space.

Rebecca is based in South Cumbria and loves to be outdoors whatever the weather. She is an advocate on how spending time outdoors can have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing and thus enjoys helping people to access nature.
 
Some of Rebecca’s favourite local walks are Farleton Knott, Loughrigg Fell and the Langdale valley in addition to the South West Coast Path. Originally from Yorkshire, Rebecca also loves mountain biking, paddle boarding and setting herself challenges, her latest is paddling all of the permitted lakes and meres in the Lake District.
 
Rebecca’s top tip is – to always check your kit before setting off on any outdoor adventure as you never know when you might get caught out.
