5 mile, undulating ,half day stroll around Sunnyhurst Woods, Tockholes and Darwen Moors. Weather permitting, glorious views. Taking well worn tracks and field paths, we will head for Sunnyhurst Woods, via historic Stepback Clough, before descending into the woods. What goes down must come up! We (gently) climb towards Tockholes, where we may see deer - but you will definitely see a bear!! Quiet roads lead us through Tockholes past old chapels, church and a sheep pinfold. Some uphill and there will be mud!! Cafe open at end of walk for coffee, cake and chat

Lead Mines Clough and Jepson’s Gate

Start at the café car park near to Go Ape at Rivington. Then make our way along the path next to Rivington reservoir to Yarrow reservoir then to Alance bridge, through lead mines clough and by Jepson's gate to then make our way to the top of Anglezarke reservoir and follow the reservoir back, then upper Rivington reservoir back to the start and if you wish get a brew and some cake.

A easy paced walk and talk of around 3miles/ 1Hour 30min. We will walk around the harbour on paved paths, before going around the old island on a gravel path. Then we will walk along the promenade, before returning through the Lon Cob Bach nature reserve and along the harbour. Great views so remember to bring your camera.

Under Wether Fell loop

A beautiful wander through Upper Wensleydale: leaving from Hawes, taking in the hamlet of Burtersett, turning west to amble through the pastures under Wether Fell to Gayle, returning along the River Ure via Haylands Bridge and back in to Hawes. We will be stopping to take in the breath-taking views in all directions, listen to the birds and absorb ourselves in the unique working landscape of Upper Wensleydale.

Great Langdale Big Day Out

This is a Wellness Walks Big Day Out. Whilst we are starting from the National Trust Stickle Ghyll car park there will be a minibus from Millom Pensioners Hall at 10:15am. You are welcome to make your own way and meet us at the start point. This is a glorious walk in the most beautiful valley in the Lake District. We'll walk from the car park to Elterwater, where there will be an option for coffee or to stop. We'll then return to the car park.
