A 5 mile fairly easy walk around Wayoh reservoir and surrounding moorland from the historic Turton Tower. On well defined woodland and farm tracks. A short section on the road ( pavement). Leaving the car, we will take a field path to the North end of Jumbles reservoir, then woodland paths to Edgworth. A short road stretch brings us to Wayoh reservoir. We cross the reservoir and return to Turton on moorland tracks, and cross the railway on a castellated bridge! Probably muddy in parts. Some short uphills taken at an easy pace.

Walk Leader - Jane

Jane is a qualified Lowland Leader & she’s also qualified in First Aid for Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid – so you know she’ll keep you safe and make your Wellness Walk a safe and supportive space.

Jane tells us that her favourite walk is one we know well – around Tockholes and Roddlesworth reservoirs – a beautiful area that Wellness Walks visits often!

Jane’s favourite place anywhere is to wander around the fabulous limestone scenery of Crummackdale – a great choice.

If you’re going to go on one of Jane’s walks then don’t forget your sense of humour – there’ll be lots and lots of laughs.
