WITTON COUNTRY PARK WELLNESS WALK FROM PLEASINGTON 4.5mls 150m accumulated ascent.
We’ll be walking AT A VERY EASY PACE , visiting the Wainwright Monument, Billinge Woods before descending to Witton Park & Playing Fields. (Toilets Available)
Continuing our walk along the River Darwen & through playing fields before an easy climb back into Pleasington.

Walk Leader - Karl
Karl is a qualified International Mountain Leader with over 20 years experience of safely leading people on their ‘Best Mountain Trip Of A Lifetime’ across the world. Before that he taught Outdoor Education & Sport in Colleges. He also has Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid qualifications – so you’ll be in safe hands.
Now returning to his roots he likes nothing more than introducing people to local walks – about which he always has a wealth of interesting and fun facts. Karl is especially good at making sure everyone has a good day out – join him on one his walks and find out for yourself.
