An Easy Paced Wellness Walk through the Beautiful Hardcastle Crags West Yorkshire. Walk will be around 8 miles & mostly amongst woodland in the crags. The Crags are famed for their Gorgeous Spring display of Bluebells & Ramsons. We’ll be walking from Heptonstall Village centre ‘Cross Inn’ down into Midge Hole & then following the river up towards the top of the crags via Gibson Mill before returning, slowly gaining height, to the Village of Heptonstall. The walk is hilly in a couple of places, but we’ll take our time.

Heptonstall is a particularly interesting village, being the home of Sylvia Plath, her Husband Ted Hughes. Her grave is in the churchyard. The Crags themselves are Awesome! 😊
