Walk Leader - Linda C.

Linda is a qualified Lowland Leader & also has Mental Health & Outdoor First Aid qualifications – so you’ll be in safe hands.

Linda is based in the South Lakes and she tells us her favourite place to walk locally is Kentmere as it has so much variety and there is something for everyone. Her favourite walk ever is the Coledale Horseshoe, an amazing challenging route, great company on the day and they were blessed with the most incredible weather.

Linda’s least favourite walk was the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in awful weather!

Brought up in the Lakes with parents who loved to walk it was almost a given that she would also grow up to love the outdoors. Linda started walking regularly around 10 years ago and is happy just pootling along with her dog or taking on a challenge.

Linda’s top tip is – remember to look at the weather forecast, but don’t let it put you off going out somewhere.
