This 1-day course is designed for people who want to get outdoors independently.

If maps and compasses are new to you, if the idea of heading off-path appeals but you don’t know how to do it safely – then this is the course for you.

It’ll be a fun, informative day that gives you a solid foundation to build on.

Hill & Mountain Skills

These official Mountain Training courses are recognised as being the best courses around to start to give you the skills and confidence to head into the higher and wilder places.
Both courses require a level of fitness and some basic outdoor skills for you to get the best from them.
